The Benefits of Personal Training Services

Each individual has unique fitness needs.

Personal trainers at Duneland Fitness design programs for each client.These services focus on individual interests and goals to achieve positive results.The personal trainers provide motivation and feedback during workouts. Individualized programs are modified as the member progresses. Safe and effective exercise techniques are taught and practiced.

The Personal Program For Success

Each member will receive the following before beginning a program:

  • A basic fitness assessment, which includes health and exercise history, body weight, body fat, circumference, strength, and cardiovascular measurements
  • Consultation with a personal trainer to determine needs and set goals
  • An exercise program developed by the Personal Trainer based upon the fitness and goals
    assessment. Strategic adjustments are made throughout the program to increase progress
    and offer greater challenges.

Special Needs

Personal Trainers are available to members with special needs or medical concerns.

The staff works with physicians to create guidelines relating to an individual’s exercise program.

Programs can be tailored for individuals that have been inactive for years.

Safe and effective exercise programs are available for members with the following conditions:

Benefits of Personal Training Services

  • Enhance cardiovascular conditioning, muscular endurance and physical stamina.
  • Expand muscular strength and functional capacity.
  • Improve flexibility for a better range of movement in the joints.
  • Decrease body fat.
  • Increase lean muscle mass to enhance metabolism and improve athletic performance.
  • Furnish a biomechanical analysis in posture and gait to assist in injury prevention.
  • Develop reconditioning following injury rehabilitation.
  • Assist in improving physical capacity and well-being for chronic conditions.
  • Provide sports performance training, including plyometrics, agility, balance, power and
    speed development.

Personal Training Policies

  • Personal training request forms can be completed to request a specific trainer.
  • If not, a trainer will be matched to you based on your fitness level and desired results.
  • Training sessions can be purchased individually or in sets of 4, 8, 16 and 32. Sets of 4 and 8 must be paid for in advance. Sets of 16 and 32 can be split up into two payments.All payments must be received before that set of training session begins.
  • Each client must sign a tracking sheet before each training session.
  • Cancellations are required 24 hours in advance.
  • All personal training packages expire within one year of the purchase date.
